The Actors Cafe was established in 1997 by International award winning film-maker Matt Norman. The past several years has seen an incredible growth in the companies film slate with a new aim to make Australian stories for an international audience. The Company has also started expanding it’s feature film slate by opening a new arm of Documentary films.

The World seems to be such a hungry place, where information is now viewed in so many mediums, that the real stories get lost amongst the network hype and gossip. As a Documentary film maker I believe that to give a story justice you must first make a point of starting at the beginning and working through to the very end. Only then will you find the story within the story.

With Australia's very best cast and crews we have a great recipe to make the kind of films that more people want to watch. Our films hold no punches when telling stories that are passionate, unpredictable, and well rounded for a bigger global audience.

The Actors Cafe has a fully functional High Definition edit facility and can run independently off its own steam.

In the coming year, The Actors Cafe's hopes to build STUDIO 1, a state of the art studio facility capable of full HD production with sound studios and full HD edit suites. Estimated time till completion is early 2009.
